BACKGROUND

    This book deals with the Old Testament of the Bible as seen through, and applying our present day genetic, technological and scientific developments.

    This is perhaps the first book to acknowledge that both theories, Intelligent Design and Evolution, can in fact co-exist, and that both diametrically opposed views are valid.
   
    There is currently a divide between supporters of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution and believers in Intelligent Design.

    In the United States this controversy was reopened late in 2005 in the debate between Teacher and Preacher in a court case to test the constitutionality of teaching Intelligent Design as a science.

    In the United Kingdom as recently as 22nd December 2008 the Guardian and the Daily Mail were publicising the results of a poll that claimed that 73% of science teachers agreed creationism should be ‘discussed’ alongside evolution in science classes which is causing much debate and controversy. We believe that for creationism it should read Intelligent Design, which is what we are aggressively practicing today and which is what we are postulating in the book.
  
    Until this book, these theories have resulted in entirely opposed groups with polarised views. In turn this book is the missing link, which has currently divided both the Scientific and Religious factions.
  
    Whilst religion takes the New Testament as word for word truth, the Old Testament is often overlooked as nothing more than a collection of creation fairytales and surrounding stories.
   
    Our current society (newspapers, television, internet), is constantly awash with stories of IVF, embryo, DNA, gene manipulation, space flights, as well as the debate on animal and human cloning.

    None of these things would even have been thought possible in the year 4004 B.C. at the creation of Adam or even in Darwin’s time.

    But what if we were to apply all our current information to the world of 4004 B.C?  What things can we read from the text of the Old Testament, and understand what might really have happened then?
   
    After all we are now in the 21st Century, with our developing and advanced technology in genetics and our sciences engaging in Intelligent Design, and creating the unthinkable ourselves.
   
    The first Chapter of the book of Genesis in the Old Testament is in fact the actual evolution and ecological history of the planet Earth in accordance with scientific opinion, but not in six days.
  
    All that has to be done is to put the verses in the right order and give them the right dates, as set out in chapter 7 page 63 of the book, and you have the chronology from the Big Bang to the birth of Jesus Christ and then onto our present 21st Century.
